• Per North Carolina law, we do not charge a cancellation fee for general notarial acts (e.g., acknowledgments, jurats, oaths).
   
• However, travel or convenience fees associated with mobile appointments are non-refundable if canceled with less than 2 hours’ notice.
   

• Cancellations made with at least 2 hours’ notice will receive a refund of any travel fees paid.
   
• If less than 2 hours’ notice is given, or the signer is not present upon arrival, the travel fee is non-refundable, and the appointment will be considered a no-show.
   

• A 10-minute grace period is given. After that, the appointment may be marked as a no-show at the notary's discretion.
   
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may require an additional travel fee.
